User Data Deletion

At Akilli Arama, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal information from our systems, in accordance with KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law), GDPR, and applicable data protection regulations.

What Data Can Be Deleted

Upon request, we can delete the following categories of your personal data: • Account information (name, email, phone number) • CRM records (leads, contacts, communication history) • Uploaded documents and files • WhatsApp, email, and voice conversation logs linked to your account • Usage analytics tied to your user ID Data shared through third-party integrations (Meta WhatsApp Business, Stripe, Retell AI) must be deleted separately from those services.

How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion through one of the following channels: • Email us at privacy@akilliarama.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" • For KVKK-specific requests in Turkey, use kvkk@akilliarama.com • Logged-in users can also trigger deletion from Settings → Account → Delete My Data To verify your identity, please send the request from the email address associated with your account and include your full name and, if applicable, your company name.

Processing Timeline

We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days, as required by KVKK Article 7 and GDPR Article 17. If your request is complex or involves data held by sub-processors, we may extend this by an additional 30 days with notice. Once completed, we will send you a confirmation email. Deleted data is unrecoverable.

What We Must Retain

By law, we may be required to retain certain data even after your deletion request: • Billing and invoice records — retained for 10 years under Turkish Tax Procedure Law (VUK) • Audit and security logs — retained for up to 2 years for fraud prevention and legal compliance • Anonymized analytics — aggregated data with no personally identifiable information All retained data is strictly access-controlled and used only for the stated legal purposes.

Third-Party Data

Some data may be stored by our integration partners: • Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) — delete via your Meta account settings or by contacting Meta directly • Stripe (payments) — contact Stripe to remove payment-related records • Retell AI (voice calls) — voice recordings are deleted when you delete your Akilli Arama account We will coordinate with these providers on your behalf when possible.
